Please help,If I complete my TCF exam and gain more than 60 points but My wife is unable to pass the Delf A1.Can I submit the file without my wife frenh score or it is compulsary to submit the both french score.

You can submit your application without her score. You just won't have any added point from her french proficiency.

My recommendation would be for you to submit your application without her score for now (so you don't have to wait). But while your application is being processed, have her practice french by taking a class or anything that could help and have her take the test (even if you already think you have more than 60 points). Later on, you can still submit the score even when the application is already with the immigration office. it's a win win.

Is a true beginner class at the Local Alliance Francaise a good bet?


Of the different exams which one is better suited

TCF,TCFQ,TEF or TEFAQ

If you do not have basic knowledge of French, then Alliance Francaise is the best + youtube videos..you can be a confident speaker (beginner level within 6 months

The evaluation is truth-worthy, dont forget that you are the one providing the information. The best way to actually evaluate your chances is by adding the points yourself. For that you can go to canadavisa.com under Quebec Skill Worker or use the GPI-3-1 (Guide des Procédures d'Immigration)

Listen to french podcast, watch french movies, meet with french people, use skype to practice with french speaker...Dont limit yourself to just taking classes. work on your french to be able to get at least B1 listening & you get 3 more points not bad at all

It is not 'necessary' per say if the spouse is not the main applicant. You just wont have any point for it, but you can still apply.

I thought A1 was 1 point and A2 gave 2 points according to the latest GPI? So 3 points total for both. Please confirm.

I already have my CSQ, just waiting for PPR from the VO. I received my CSQ with a validated job offer (6 points), and I am already working in that job here in Montreal. What would happen if my company transfers me to one of their offices in another country before I receive my PR? Will my CSQ be revoked or reevaluated, and I'd have to go back to square 1?

Need urgent help: I am applying as an ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT and not an ACCOUNTANT. Do I need to fill up the form 'DECLARATION BY A CANDIDATE PRACTICING A REGULATED TRADE OR PROFESSION IN QUEBEC'?

As per http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/forms/search-title/dcs-workers/index.html :

Declaration by a candidate practicing a regulated profession or trade in Québec (PDF, 37 Kb), if you or your spouse practises or has the training needed to practise

1) a profession governed by a professional order,
2) regulated trades in the construction industry,
3) vocational qualifications regulated by Emploi-Quebec (regulated trades outside the construction industry),
4) professions in financial sector.

I am not sure if it falls in any of the above categories. Please advise, thanks.

1. Im single and never been married but i have a child which cutoff score should i follow? 55pts or 63 pts? I hope this will be clarified im confused by this information
2. do they accept original attestation for DELF? or really the original diploma?
