I am working on Ontario and have got the Ontario Province interest letter(Waiting for AOR). Can any one have an idea whether will it create any issue for my Ontario application if i submit for Quebec.

A background check is needed... what do they mean by that? Is that the PCC review stage? Cause they make it sound like not everyone needs it.

Guys, just in case someone else has the same issue: I've found out on a FB group that you have to add 1 for # of family members, even if you're accompanied. I was using 2 as I'm married, but I think you can (have to?) do it for each requiring requestor.

You can leave and come back to Canada as long as you have valud study or work permit with TRV.

exactly same as mine... i expect passport request around junuary, 1 year after submission. finger crossed.

What does it mean that you guys have A background check is not needed at this time? I thought it was necessary for everyone?

We didn't send PCC with application since having lived in Canada since the age of 17, but our status still says Background check is in progress. We haven't been requested for PCC at all yet.

my guess is the following:

everyone has to go through a background check, once the applicant passed the background check, the ELIGIBILITY STATUS would become passed, then the final decision process begins...

that being said, background check status shows in progress is a good sign..

Me too, I tried many times, it still tells me no application found. Anyone know what is the problem?
