1- Did you have to obtain comparative evaluation of your degree before applying or this can be done after getting CSQ ?

2- Also i am unaware if my profession falls under regulated profession. How can I check ?

There is no need for degree evaluation for QSW. It is required if u r applying for FSWP.

Hey there,

Is there anyone who sent in their application for CSQ this 2013? Have you received any updates from them? that is: AOR, DD ENCASHED, CC DEBITED, CSQ, INTERVIEW CALL, REFUSAL LETTER (God forbid)......etc?

Pls let's network here so we can see if there has been any change to the processing times this year since almost all the BIQs were transferred to Montreal this January. Is it actually slowing or speeding the total process?

Update them that you got married and changed your name. I think they have a form in their website for updates. However, if you update them regarding your change in civil status, there will be changes in your points as well.

Yes, after you get your AOR you can update them that you got married; instructions are in the AOR. I think you will have to use a form that can be taken from their website. Your points will change, though, as they will have to consider your spouse in the points system now, and you will need minimum of 57 points instead of the original 49.

Just followed up in Montreal BIQ, and the agent said my file is not yet opened. He said usually 4-6 months but I am hearing a lot of people who submitted last June they already have file number. I wish I can have mine already so I can submit my other documents.

I will try to call them again first week of October hopefully to get an answer from them.
