Hey there,

Is there anyone who sent in their application for CSQ this 2013? Have you received any updates from them? that is: AOR, DD ENCASHED, CC DEBITED, CSQ, INTERVIEW CALL, REFUSAL LETTER (God forbid)......etc?

Pls let's network here so we can see if there has been any change to the processing times this year since almost all the BIQs were transferred to Montreal this January. Is it actually slowing or speeding the total process?

I applied for CSQ in early March and haven't gotten any updates yet!! AND You ?

Keep connected!!

I want to understand if there is any guideline on
what are some of the possible reasons behind getting
called for an interview. Also are there any specific
locations where these interviews are scheduled
in North America ?

Appreciate your help.

Hi Smallwhale,
which of the immigration programs are you referring to? QSW or FSW ? Each has its own factors that contribute to interview waiving.
For QSW, a good result for the French test can waive your interview, area of training that fetches you 12 or 16 points (priority) can help your interview get waived, and many other points. If you can share your profile with us, we can help you find out if you have a possibility of getting an interview waiver or not.......keep in touch

Stylove,

''Comparative evaluation'' and not credential evaluation, is conducted by the MICC.

The Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec (comparative evaluation for studies done outside Québec) is a document issued by the Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles that provides a general description of the educational documents presented for evaluation as well as the curriculum followed outside Québec. It indicates how the studies completed outside Québec compare to the Québec education system and its main diplomas (or educational benchmarks).

The Évaluation comparative is neither a diploma nor the equivalent of a diploma. It is an expert opinion issued for reference purposes that can help individuals who studied outside Québec find a job. The Évaluation comparative is issued following a rigorous and structured analysis based on several years of experience. Employers, educational institutions and professional orders often take the Évaluation comparative into consideration during hiring, selection or admission.

For more information on the education systems of certain countries, consult Tableaux comparatifs des diplômes, in Appendix 4 of the table of contents of the chapter on the Programme régulier de sélection des candidats travailleurs qualifiés in the Guide des procédures d'immigration (PDF, 640 Kb).
