Mr QORAX,

You r monitoring this thread very closely .....and yet no response.

You still continue to provide vague answers that r not supported by ANY EVIDENCE or statics.....the below post would scare the 2011 and 2012 applicants, Mr QORAX...(there r many such ex)

Oh i see u have changed ur signature again.....i thought u liked azazaz's Comment (a lot) or was it there "for a change" for JUST COUPLE OF HOURS ONLY

TREAD carefully Mr QORAX....u r very much respected here.....dont lose it just becoz u will not admit ignorance abt certain subj

i agree with you. he is just human and i appreciate the work he done for years. we should forgive him but he needs to be careful in future.

Looks like no amount of pointing out by others (including the original poster) is going to help in restoring the flow back to it's constructive nature. Perhaps, we should just take a cue for Qorax and just ignore guys who digress from the topic to score cheap brownie points.

Every action has equal and opposite reaction

The ORIGINAL discussion was of course relevant but it got a different shade when proper answers were not provided.

This reaction was evident.........and was expressed honestly by me. I did not agree with what he was doing and expressed myself ....is that wrong?

I urge him to continue with his GOOD WORK ...but with caution as many ppl depend on what he says.

NO INTENTION TO DISRESPECT QORAX.

Mr. Qorax is providing information here which he knows and which he feels beneficial to others. However, if anyone feels that the info provided by Mr. Qorax is not what they have been expecting, then they have the right to ignore him or just go to an expert and professional and licensed immigartion consultant. But I feel no one has the right to criticise anyone here. However the best would be just to ignore these posts and carry on with the good work that Mr. Qorax has been providing and be a support to Mr. Qorax.

Qorax ji aap aagay badho, hum aapke saath hain............

do we have the right to correct him or point out his mistake? do we have? thanks

Bloom,

Again, the colored fonts. Please refrain from using unless it is imperative to highlight something original. (Newton's 3rd law of motion is irrelevant here). Or is it just that you are insecure that people won't read what you write without color fonts?

You have a right to disagree, but you don't have a right to warn people in a forum(which is what you have done by stating qorax to tread carefully). If you really did not mean any dis-respect please change the tone of your sentence.

Again i urge you to spend more time reading his earlier posts in different threads and less time posting your rather-newbie opinion about how he should be cautious. People might be depending on his opinion, but if they totally depended on just 1 individual's opinion without doing any
further research/due diligence they are doomed to fail in anything.

+ 10 for Mr Qorax

hi

i am sorry if because of me this thread was interrupted. this was never my intention. i want you to carry on good work and seek relevant information. but remember we all have the right to speak when we see some thing is not right. thank you.

QORAX da has been extremely helpful to all of us ....beyond doubt.

I believe as members, especially Senior members, one has to exert extreme vigilance as to what one writes because one mistake can trigger a cascade of unfavourable reactions.

This is actually an eye opener for all of us and we should be open to criticisms (Why not?) as that will pave way for a better and positive flow in the forum.

I am sure QORAX da will take this in his stride and continue helping us as before :)

Please please dear forum member .....
Request you to end this war of words....
Because no one is winner nor looser we create a forum in view of helping each other for the query which we were uncertain...
if a query goes unanswered you can re post it....

Warm regards....

Pure guess work here.

Looking at the link Mitali posted
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/eservices/menu-eng.html, it seems that ECU is part of Canadian Border Security rather than CIC.
Now have a look at the link below.
http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/ae-ve/2009/assia-aeasr-eng.html

What it means that we all are being screened by CBSA for any fraud or terrorist activity(maybe)

Secondly, we all know that CIC has immigrated from CAIPS to GCMS. Maybe ECU was not mentioned in CAIPS, but it is part of GCMS.
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/ae-ve/2010/dr-rd_ftn-eng.html
Point 12 of the link
Starting in 2010, the Global Case Management System (GCMS) Release 2 (International Region) will replace the current GCMS Citizenship application, as well as the Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System (CAIPS) and Immigration Medical System (IMS) currently being used by CIC and CBSA employees. GCMS-2 includes an automated interface with CBSA's Secure Tracking System (STS) and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) that will permit officers at missions overseas and at CBSA HQ to process security screening requests for temporary and permanent resident visa applications

Conclusion: All of the applications are now screened by ECU/CBSA. Hence the delay.

If you all agree give me +1.

Dear nano,

agreed ..

What does CAIPS result means !! as Lokoloko asked to Qorax and addition to that Points calculated based on ?

Dear Qorax,

You may be right but almost all of us (NDVO prejune with processing dates) who got our CAIPS have seen that our files and all updated information is forwarded to ECU and the lines mentioned exactly as:
ECU- PLS REQUEST THE FOLLOWING:
MED
PPT
RPRF

Yes, I believe that's what is going on as I have already mentioned in my previous post. I have a feeling that as a part of UPDATION of CIC functionalities, this marriage of ECU/CBSA has just recently kicked in and thus taking time in adjusting itself (agree with you).

Anyways.......you deserve +1 :)

Mitali

Than give me +1. :)

By our CAIPS report it seems all our cases are processed through ECU.
There is no need to believe otherwise.

I agree that Qoraxji has seen lot of CAIPS, but this procedure seems recent, so maybe he missed on it.
