@@ Qorax / Seniors,

You have mentioned in one of your post that this form is required while landing.

I didn't find this requirement on CIC website, only COPR and B4 list I found out.

Can you or anyone please confirm on this ?

Thanks

No, it isn't needed, the Examining office will complete the application for your PR card.

Replied to your PM few minutes back...

The PR card Application Form is not needed for 1st time landing. It'll be done by the BSO@Airport, on his/her system. And u'd get the PRCs in 40-45 days in your mail box.

Thanks. Well I am planning to land by Road. I still have certain questions but I will first go collect every details and afterwords put all questions together so it will be easy to answer.

Thanks again.

As a wise rule, u must carry couple of your pp sized pics whenever u travel abroad. For landing in Canada it's all the more necessary. U never know, where & when a few pics would be required.

Yes, carry those CIC sized pics with u. Sometimes the COPR pics have some issues & the BSO might ask u for additional ones. If u already have them in person, u save time; if u do not, the BSO would click u@the airport anyway.

No, that reverse noting is not required for the 1st landing.

Hello Boss, Qorax:

Regarding my case , status changed into "In Process " on 1st July 2010 but haven't gotten medical yet . How many days it might take to issue that (maximum) .E-cas shows "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 22, 2010". Could you pls explain the quoted sentence ."How will they conduct ''security check'' .Would you pls take some trouble to comment on that?

Regards,

It takes anything between 4-7 months to get your Meds Call after the 2nd stage of docs filing.

Serious Security Checks commence after your Meds Results r Received at the CHC. After that u get your PPR.
