Hello! I submitted my application, but now am a bit confused. I did not fill out the IMM 5562 in the portal, as it did not look like it was required for those from the US and living in the US when I looked up supplemental forms on the IRCC site. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? I left the form blank, but now am wondering if I should have put Not Applicable or something. Or, was it required, and I was mistaken?

I filled mine out with my travels to Canada, but otherwise I would have put NA in the fields and sent it in like that. You can send a webform explaining why you did not include it and see if they are happy with that. Worst thing that will happen is you will be told the application is incomplete and you'll just have to include it with NA

The reason I did not was because the United States of America said "no extra forms" when I searched up the application package, and the IMM5562 said "if it applies".

@SoupGoblin Did you see it as required, or just did it as extra precaution? I probably have about a hundred trips to and from Canada that I would need to enter if I did complete it... haha
Oh if you have the trips to canada then I think you need it. I saw it as being required due to all my trips. I had to dig to find all my travel dates.

Hmm yes, it is a bit confusing. I assumed the "if it applies" was just if your country required it. :/ I submitted my app a couple weeks ago, so I guess there is nothing to do but see if they send it back as incomplete?

Maybe I have it wrong and it wasn't required? I just filled out everything, but I was being anxious so just wait and see. They will let you know.

Thanks you too! For an estimate of time i had to redo somethings after applying nov 30th 2024, but I'm already just waiting on ecopr. So you shouldn't be slowed down too much

Your interpretation is correct, if it doesn't specify as required for your country, then it's not.

Wasn't required. No big deal of course.
