QORAX and all seniors and members help pls CAIPS confusing!!!

I just received my CAIPS a while ago. It says:

IM1017S requested on 08-07-2009 (is this the medical forms???)

Note: I havent received any medical forms, and in fact last November 2009 I sent them an inquiry through case specific inquiry and they said they have not sent anything since AOR which I received in July 2009.

PSDEC 1 on 31-07-2009

Now my questions are:

Is IM1017s medical form? Does this mean that they sent it on July 8, 2009?

How come they send me the medical forms before the PSDEC date?

Please comment guys

My next BFD will be on 25-03-2011

2011???? how come I am under the new process???

Bro,

1. IMM 1017 is the med form. However, your CAIPS says, 'it is requested'... that beats me. My CAIPS said 'it is sent'.
2. BF'D of 2011 seems to be mistyped... it ought to be 2010. No VO shall put a 1yr later date.

I think u should wait for some more replies to your post before getting some right deductions.

IMM 1017s is asked after medicals normally...i found in my case it was after 2weeks of medical request...although i received none of these...and i have requested chc to re send my medical etc...regarding bring forward date its a mistake i guess...as its impossible for fasttrack applicantions...don't worry too much abt these dates as chc is not very accurate abt these dates..if there is no step in coming months u can email them...without considering any bfd...can u tell me which chc u have applied..i have heared only buffalo is the slowest one.

do send an email to chc immidiately informing that you haven't received IMM1017s request which is mentioned in the caipsnotes

Thanks Sunny, does your CAIPS mention IM1017s requested or IM 1017s sent? It seems that others like Qorax's says medical forms are sent and not requested?

How could I expect any update with my files as my file has been scheduled to be opened on March 25, 2011? Please advise what should I do?

Yeah, send them an email to cross-check on it. As well as ask about the meds.
There's no harm in sending emails to CHC.

IMM 1017s requested in my case.....also its clearly given there in my caips that medical and rprf request has been sent on the date of SELDEC 4 (and IMM1017 2weeks later)
I think u should inform abt medicals to chc immidiately but there is no need to mention abt bring foward date..it will not look gud..its their mistake and we should not realise them...for sure they will not follow this bfd and correct it later on...even they will notice this when u will send an email for medical..they will have to check ur file for this and obviously bfd will be noticed..thats just an advice dear.

I think you should mention about the error in the BFD date through a case specific email enquiry to them. But do it in sweet words and very politely. Clearly there is a mistake in the BFD and you should get it right.

BTW, Is there any remarks by the IO in the CAIPS notes? Also how much points they awarded you? I have also ordered CAIPS notes and expect the notes in the second or third week of February.

last month when i asked for status update chc told they had sent medical on 15 october
and when i receive caipsnotes it was written their as SELDEC 4 Oct 15 and IMM 1017s requested 1november

(medical and rprf send to PA)...this was also written at other place....so the thing is..i got the date of my medical and rprf from email from chc which is same date as SELDEC (selection date) where as IMM 1017s is requested on 1november as written in caipsnotes.
but i haven't receive either medical, rprf or IMM1017s...so u can see i have concluded this from CHC email and caipsnotes.

My SELDEC is 0. CAIPS did not mention about RPRF. There is something in the case status section that reads IMM 1017s requested on 08-07-2009. But my PSDEC 1 is dated 31-07-2009? Do you think they issued my medial but did not receive it?

My SELDEC is still 0. Though PSDEC is 1. I guess you are right IMM 1017s requested is not the same as IMM 1017s sent. "Request" might just mean an internal request by CIC to prepare for the medical forms so it is available as soon as it is needed, but it does not necessarily mean that it was sent. My PSDEC date is 31-07-2009 and IMM 1017s requested is 08-07-2009. It is impossible that medical forms will be sent before the PSDEC right? But what made me sad is the BFD. It is set on March 25, 2009. Is it OK if I send them an e mail to ask if the BFD encoded in the CAIPS is incorrect? Reply will be appreciated. Thanks...
