My Dear Seniors,

Well, lots of congrats for ya all who are getting their PPRs and VISAs. As number of landed immigrants as well as those who will be there in few days or months time are increasing with each passing day so its time to get together and give and share our landing experiences housing issues, scenarios and job related matters after landing and contribute positively to the ones who are in wait and expected their landing in near future.....

I know we are all doing it on this forum and everywhere on Canada visa blogs but we need to build a new blog or forum specifically for happiness of landed immigrants(infohings to do and practical experiences). This is a idea of one of our forum colleague Mr.Amjad from Islamabad so we must initiate it. I know there are forums on Canada Visa blog that are intended for related issues but we want to build our own community and promote brotherhood and togetherness among ourselves and towards others communities...

also i would like to ask anyone from karachi planing to go to calgary please do guide regarding the choice of airline, the baggage allowance, what to take and what not to take and facilites for cargo.

Could someone help me how to get a NOC [authority letter] from traffic transport Lahore? ??? Is it worth or not, quite confused. Secondly, Which one is the best Bank in Canada. I have selected Scotia.

Hi Canada!

According to lalaje its worth it and if you don't take it you will have to get that from Pakistani embassy in Canada. In Islamabad, I checked with traffic police and they are willing to give me, I will get that on Monday. Regarding bank I think RBC is best, rest is up to you to decide..Thanks

Its kinda great to see this forum progressing with so many inputs already.....I am sorry i just couldn't find myself to participate in the discussions n posts because my Father is very ill and he might be going for an extensive surgery on Monday or Tuesday that's why i m hell busy and couldn't find time for this forum....I postponed my plan of landing on 11th December because of my father's health. Once he will be recovered fully then i ll plan because my fathers like everyone else means a lot for me.....

Please pray for my father's speedy recovery and better health...
