Provincial letter of interest

Hi I’m currently in the express entry pool waiting for a CEC draw. I received a provincial letter of interest for PNP nomination a couple months back.
With CEC draws paused I was revisiting the prospect of going through PNP but the guideline states that I have to reply to the letter within two weeks of receiving it. Since it’s been longer than that time, is the PNP option unavailable to me now or can I still reply to that letter?
Any thoughts/guidance would be appreciated. Thanks
