Dear All,
My wife and I are 35 years old. We started our process almost 7 months back, but with 2 kids under 2 and my wife's hospitalisation due to illness, I have barely managed to send out my degrees to WES so far.
Things will be faster now that we are back on track.

My worry is that - Have we missed the boat? The Cut offs seem to be just moving northward. Last I checked, our points were barely around 450 (dont remember exactly). Age is working against us, I guess.

A few questions
- My brother has filed for the EE profile already. He is waiting for the invitation, and likely to get it. How many months will he have to stay in canada to get a PR? And when can I claim his points , if I can at all
- Apart from express entry, is there any other way to get the PR? I am still doing my research, but in case any of you have managed to crack it..could you share?

Thanks!

He becomes PR as soon as he lands in Canada. You can claim sibling points then. You will have to show his PR card (or COPR), prove that he is living in Canada.
You could also look into PNP, which is another route under EE.
processing times varies, some people have been lucky to get their PR within 3-6 months, others about year.
