Can someone explain to me about the "Check processing times" page on canada.ca? I have applied for my study permit extension and sent the application on June 20th. I checked the processing time for my applicaition and saw it said: "38 days, Working on applications received on June 5, 2019." Does the 38 days mean if you applied today?

Also I should probably mention that the processing time has changed multiple times throughout my waiting time. When I applied it had a processing time of 32-ish days, recently it was 39 days, and when I checked just now 38 days.

This means that current processing times for all applicants (regardless of when their application was received) is around 38 days. Keep in mind that this is an estimate only (not a maximum). It's quite possible and not at all unusual for processing to take significantly longer.

Alright, that makes a lot more sense. Thanks so much!
