processing time

In early december i sent an email to the canadian embassy in london about moving to canada. i sent it on my wifes email account as mine wasnt working at the time.
Last night i opened the reply from the embassy and it says the processing time for a skilled worker application takes 42 - 48 months at the london office.
Please, somebody tell me this is a mistake.

It has to be a mistake. The old skilled worker in London is taking 31 to 38 months, that is for the people who applied that long ago. The estimate for somebody who applied just before the new rules could possibly be 42, who knows but the new one is supposed to be much faster and there is no way they know how long it takes yet because nobody has been processed under the new rules yet.
