Same on my end it reached August 4th no update yet, tried to call them and emailed them and got the generic response

I won’t recommend coming to India without your PR card.
VAC are slow, and they close when covid cases rise. No timeline when things will get done. If its not atmost emergency do not come without your PR card. It will add up stress when u have to deal with all this nuisance processes here.

If you have a COPR document you can drive to Canada

Its little hard to drive because I’m in California and I’m supposed to go back to Toronto So its bit too far
