Hi friends??
What does "Medical have been received " means?? I have no idea when I will get the biometrics.. most of them give on the early stages but in my case medical is done last month 12th and still waiting for biometrics and decision made update

Medical recover mean you passed the medical
And I am really don’t know about biometric coz I applied 2017 I am not familiar with this new process

Same case mine. I'm November applicant. Medical passed may 3.
Additional document req may 14 . no updates . Still waiting . 13 more weeks for one year mark.

I am from Feb, 5th . Passed my medical 21st July. When I emailed Colombo few weeks ago, they told me the application is in the queue to be screened. Don't really know what that means exactly but fingers crossed as we wait......

Hi @Abisiva, No I did not recived any biometrics request. I visited Canada 2 years ago and for that I had to do my biometrics. So I guess they are going to use it because I mentioned my biometrics number when I applied and they are valid for 10 years. Your medical and mine are sort of few weeks apart so I guess more or less we are in the same pool eh. I will let you know if I get any update. I know its wishful thinking, but hopefully we will hear some good news by Sep/Oct ...maybe ...lol

Hi @Reshan !! Thank you for your reply.. I was wondering y the biometrics was not yet done for me and my medical is done.. Good to hear from you.. I will keep you updated too.. currently my Update is still "IN PROCESS" and still not changed as "DECISION MADE".. Hopefully we both can hear a good news in Oct.. fingers

Hi Guy`s, I live in Québec and sponsoring my husband from sri-lanka. i have
submit my file in oct 2018 and
returned resubmit in 22jan 2019.
all the process in quebec are done even
got CSQ on 29May2019-
file transfered to colombo start process 09Apr19

still waitting ... havn`t received any news of process is that normal ?
people who have submit there file after us got for fingerprint and waitting for medical now...
but for us still no sign of any movement !

I applied from Quebec as well for my husband in Sri Lanka. I have roughly the same timeline as you. Applied in Oct 2018. CSQ was returned, re-submitted, then finally approved in June 2019. Have you received your medical request yet?

We didn’t and I see that a lot of others who applied after us have received theirs. Not sure if they send these requests in batches depending on the province you apply from.
