Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

If they said he will receive an email for PPR. I am sure you will get the visa. I am scared though. But if the lady on the phone said ppr will come then, we don't need to worry.

One of my friend got Visa last week and visa will expire in October! Also one of my sister got additional document which is landing fee receipt! Hope she will get visa soon too.

Senthuran - dont worry your wife will get it soon - it is tough for guys. wives get it faster.

Yes if they didn't pay the full fee then the PR has a fee which she had to pay upon receiving the PR>

Oh sorry Senthuran - just provide lots of supporting documents and study all the dates and what not. Just in case you have an interview. Men do not really remember details but the interviewers do not care about it.

Hi All,

The VO in Sri Lanka has requested my wife (who i am sponsoring) for copies of the "Amendment" pages from her PP. She has sent these but they have not acknowledged anything. Should I call them to confirm that this is safely received? Getting a bit worried because they have said if this support docs are not sent in due time (July 27th), the application may be rejected. The latest update on the online site just says "Medicals Received".

Please advice.

I dont think thy will acknowledge you and its too early!
I have encountered this problem too. May be send a email after 2 or 3 weeks later! we send a email after 4th week to acknowledge but no reply but they updated our status as in-process in cic.
