Hi Selvi, welcome to the forum. It's best to be there by 6:30, latest by 6:45 or else it will be a long wait to get inside. Just tell them you want a status update. Take your Bxxxxxxx file number with you if not your passport. Sometimes you may have to go another day if you go late. This is my personal experience, good luck.

this thread gone soooooo dead....people wake up nothing really on my side.....but i have got the caips note...with the of my dear friend charlie....i was able to understand every little thing on the notes...everything is ok.....they started the process on my application the date they recieved my file whick is january 17th since then in process....and the e-cas changed in process sept 02 ......the only thing that is pending is the interview.....im also planing to go back home and be their with my hubby on the interview...we still dont have a date yet......and his meds are expiring on october 15 :'( :'( does any one know how long it will take for them to set a date 4 the interview??

Well maybe they will waive your interview for you?? The next 2 weeks are crucial! I will pray for you. I really do hope that you get it. We are still waiting on the Re-Meds letter. But nothing on our end. Just dead noise. We check the mail every day to see if it has come through, but nothing. So there you go. It's quiet sad really. But we have hope. So you be hopeful too

yea really this thread started with me and u... i'm really hoping that this will be done in be4 meds expiry...as of july they decided that they wanted to have an interview....it says on the caips notes....but no date as of yet : hey mel on the caips note it says bring forward date is december 26 2011 does that mean they touch my file till then :'( :'( this waiting thing is really driving me nuts :-\ :-\ any ways girl i pray 4 u as well......keep me updated.....god bless u

Rathika-That sounds like it.. But don't take my word for it. If his meds are about to expire, they might call him any day now. If they don't, then you may have to wait until dec. hmmmm... Colombo visa office is horrid in that sense.

Yes. So true Mel. A lot have disappeared. Only very few updated us with the results. I hope everything will work out for both of u very soon. don't forget, I will be on the thread.

I think everyone else may have gotten the visa and decided that they are done. So a few of us left to struggle on. But we will be ok. I have some hope. It's hard not knowing and not be able to start our lives. But it has to come to an end right? either now or later, they have to give us an answer. So that's what keeps us going.

same thing happened to me........back to application recieved....anyways welcome to the thread can u share ur time line..
