You can apply through any Indian embassy. In Srilanka we have one in Jaffna and another is in Colombo.

I got it from chennai head of ploice department! I am in chennai now for a short holiday. If u need any help i can do it .

I got it already from local police station...but I'm worried wether cic will accept that or not!and m not refugee in India!and in cic website it states that we can apply at local police station?reply me!!

Praba mine is same but without the photo .and I got it from local police station.not from commissioner office..and in cic website it has shown that we can get it from there.no information about commissioner office thing.im really worried.urs s signed by commissioner but mine is signed by inspector of that police station.

I asked local police station they said they dont issue any clearance for immigration purpose go and apply in commissioner office!

I was in uk that time so i applied through my brother!
