Processing time at New York City consulate

They received my application on Oct 5th. I also send them so many emails, faxes, but still no response. My trip is this coming Wednesday (November 21st). I do not think that I am going to receive my passport on time .

I mailed my application on Oct. 3rd and have heard nothing from them by now... anyone know how to reach them to ask for the application status? i sent many emails and got nothing replied... I urgently need my passport and visa for an awards night in my school on Nov.28th. any chance to get them before that date ? i see many people are complaining, but any update on recent processing time?

Hi, did you get your passport back? Did you go to Canada as you wish? I have the same situation as you. They received my application on Oct. 15th and I dont have any forms of reply from them. It has been 50 days already. I sent them e-mails but received autoreplies everytime. I dont know what I shall do. I'm really worried!! Does anybody have the same situation as me? Can anybody tell me what i can do?

I applied for my work permit under Live In Caregiver in November, sent my application on 19th was received on 21st, its been 65 days now and i havent heard from them up to now. when they say 2 months is it weekdays only not including weekends or they include weekends?

the 2 month or 1 month on their website means nothing, I wait almost 3 month for my work permit. even we take the hurricane sandy into counting -- let's say 1 week -- that's still 11 weeks of processing time.

no update yet. Will post myself if any. i havent mailed them yet. I am planning on waiting this week at the least. Do post if you receive any reply from the consulate.
Dont worry - it will be ok. Hopefully we will get our passports with visa soon.

hi guys im new here. just want to share my application status and gain others information status as well. Im here in canada as a pinoy visitor and applied for work permit via courier at newyork consulate on feb11. My LMO expiration is Feb 15 before hand last dec6 did my medical and was submitted to cic by jan8 then by feb28 called up cic that they have received my medical records. according to newyork website their processing time is minimum of 30 days and at the cic.gc.ca it say 2 months. Now, i have heard other applicants they got their applications within 10weeks. Now due to holy week processing time will vary due days of holidays are not counted. But hoping hard that they would release our passports soon with a positive result. This application is for me and my partner we had job offer from mcdonalds in alberta. Im kinda worried about the expiration of our LMO due to very limited time from submission and receiving. one more thing how do you check or where to acquire the client id no?

Hello. I am also a Filipino. Just wondering how did you receive info from the consulate about your medical. Did you receive it via e-mail or by mail? I am still waiting for WP application submitted in New York. I turned in mine last February 25 and have not heard any yet from them. I know, I will be needing a medical exam but I have not received any instruction yet form the consulate. Can you share your experience. That will be a great help. thanks!
