Processing time after submissiom of medicals and police clearance certificate

Hi everyone, I got a letter from IRCC on 28 March 2023 to go for medicals and submit police clearance certificate within 30 days. I and my children did our medicals and i submitted police clearance certificate before the deadline. But surprisingly, I have not received any further update till now. Can anyone please tell me what may be the cause of the delay. I don't know what's going on.

I have seen someone wait 1.5 years between medical and the next update.

Our Medical, PPC, and updated documents were submitted in April beginning. Still waiting for an update. I called IRCC and it says "We are processing your background check. We are still reviewing if you meet the eligibility requirements."
