Proactive RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check

Our immigration consultant advised us to procure an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check proactively, in order to be ready with the response when the request arrives.

Question to those who received such a request: Does the e-mail contain an age restriction, e.g. a stipulation that the CCRC must not be older than xx months? The CIC web page seems to be silent on this subject.

Don't worry about that.. If you are in Canada.. RCMP report you will get in one week to send it to CIC, whenever they request it

you should oreder gcms notes to see if it says rcmp required!!

if i were you, i would apply for it. They asked me Spain PCC even though i stayed there only for few weeks :-\
