Private health care?

Anybody tried Bupa international before?

Any other suggestions for private health care that I can buy before obtaining PR? I checked Cigna and they said they will have to see a PR card. So Bupa is my best option now, but I don't see that they have strong presence in Canada so I'm worried about the process of reclaiming any expenses.

Here's an online broker we used, and had no problem making a claim. https://www.kanetix.ca/travel-visitors-to-canada

It's emergency travel medical insurance. So will cover for unexpected/emergencies only, not for regular check-ups or pre-existing conditions.
