Previous work permit with a new passport

Hi,

Thanks in advance for any input. My situation is that I had a passport, and a work permit based on that (please note that the passport number is on the work permit). Then for some reason I had to change the passport, even though its expiration date was 2 years from now. Now I have a new passport, and my old work permit.

First question, is it required for me to apply for another work permit with my new passport? I don't have to because its expiry is 2 years from now.

Second, I want to apply for a new TRV (Temporary resident visa). Can I just provide my work permit and my new passport? Isn't it a problem that the passport number on the work permit is my old passport number?

No need to apply for any new Visa application.

But what ever if you changed your passport than also old passport you suppose to get back with Cancelled Stamped ? Did you got it returned?

Seconding in this case you has to revised your TRV by communicating with CHC for this issue... They will do this immediately. Not a issue.
