My e-CAS turned "in process" from March 7. keeping fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

How long does it take usually to complete the process before medical request? Can anyone pls respond.

Ideally it should not take more than 90 days.

I guess for all NDVO applicants, for some reason medicals are on hold.

There are bulk In Process with process date going on since Jan 2012 for all the Pre June 2010 applicants but none got the medicals or any update.

By mid of April 2012 few of this forum members will be completing 90 days, so let’s wait couple of weeks more to see some light.

Let me tell you what I feel,

When we get IP with date, then its no point to check E-cas because, I dont think they change status when they send MR request. I think they approach us directly from any ways- email or post. and once they receive MR then only they change our E-CAS that MR received on such date.

But did not receive any AUTO REPLY of receiving that email.
I have sent two times but did not receive any auto reply.
I had sent a CSI few weeks back and received auto reply immediatly.
but now did not receive any

I have no words to epxress our solidarity towards all the pre-27/Feb/2008 applicants who have been eagerly waiting since years for a +ve outcome. The kind of agony they go through on hearing this news and the devastating effect it has on their future dreams and plans can only be felt but not expressed. In spite of such a long wait, all the hopes to see a +ve result in the end has been dashed with a single stroke by the learned minister. This is gross injustice by the Canadian govt. Total negligence on their part in accepting lakhs and lakhs of applications more than required and then putting everyone in a dilemma.

My sincere wish for all the effected applicants that God be with them in these bad times and help them in overcoming this situation +vely by opening up new and alternative avenues.

This is a great set-back for applicants waiting from 2004 & it is 2012.....After 8 years this is really bad... I also have an application filed in Year 2006... but out of nowhere i decided to file application in Fast Track.

I was sitting at IELTS coaching center where I met a lady who also had 2 application (Pre 2008 & MI-1). She urged me to apply under fast track. Again I was reluctant & wanted to wait till 26 June 2010 for MI-2. BUT after profound thoughts I applied under MI-1 in April 2010. Thanks to the Lady.

Later I discovered that NOC 0213 was removed from MI-2.

Now Pre 2008 applications are also getting eliminated. Although I think I applied both the files quite late since both are still pending, but to an extent it just clicked on right time for me. Although I am still not sure what will be the fate of MI-1 Application.

But this is really bad & sad for people who just have single application & waiting for their applications to be processed in near future.

I wish there is some wayout for them to get through & may they reach their desired locations soon.

UNDOUBTEDLY, the action of Canadian Govt to offload the VOS from pre-2008 cases is nothing short of hitting the applicants below the belt.Evidently, they had accmulated huge money from the applicants nd used it in their system,the way they wanted it to.Now, they have decided to return the applications with the refunds what they recvd 8 yrs back.The move is unethical nd is against the natural justice.

Agreably,there may be quite a good number of the affected applicants who have already taken suitable recourse to address their future plans nd career of their progeny, accordingly.Still, uncertainty kept haunting them for so many years.Hope,from now on they will work on the plans in hand.
