Pre 26 june(MI-1) Delay struggle, Lets get united ................. is a good initiative but will something positive come out of it? Iam a NDVO candidate having received 2nd AOR in July 2010 its already 17 months where as the CIC website says that the timelines for NDVO is 16 months, so not sure whats happening with M1 candidates from NDVO? by the way is it the same for all vo's or is it just NDVO which is sleeping?

MINE TOO 2nd AOR in 18 July 2010 its already 17 months
by the way is it the same for all vo's or is it just NDVO which is sleeping?

Indian, what makes you say that NDVO has started working from this month for Pre-June applicants?

I don't want to sound patronising but, instead of struggling and "joining a fight" why don't all who are of course eligible, file a second application under MI3. I had a similar problem, I was a 2008 applicant. Seeing how long it was taking, I applied again under MI2 and wrote to them that I have an application in the system and will revoke that once I get the visa on this one. So, I got the visa on MI2 and revoked the earlier application and got a refund!

Don't get frustrated guys, work with the system!

While the proof of funds and the NBI may not matter if obtained proactively a second time, hold on to the medicals, as you'll need a request letter from the VO for the same. And, no matter how strong the temptation, don't submit anything till they ask you for it, you might send someone into tail spin. Good Luck!

thanks for the advice! its just tempting,you know... but yeah.. anyway we are pre june 2010 applicants & last july we r done with the medicals, sept.14 they received it.. yeah..so hopefully few more months and we'll get the PPR... ND & Manila V.O have the same processing time.. 16 months right????

you are lucky cos you have your NOC exist on the list .. But I cannot reapply cos my NOC doesn't exist anymore

Don't worry, u'll get email for update soon. My NOC is not also in the 29-joblist, and i am knocked for updated info few days back.

I agree ... that's why I mentioned "who are eligible"!

For the backlog it seems they are clearing about 30,000 visas a year no one is being added to the list make it easy to track.
For the priority inventory it's hard to track as they are adding MI2 and MI3 and, and, and
But generally I can say it will take those 3 years to clear the first list.
What do you think?

with the pledge of increasing visa issuing quota of 30-40% in 2012 than they did in 2011 and stopping all parents sponsoring visas will surely expedite our cases. Most of the MI-2 applicants have already received their visas and MI-3's are only 10,000 ( yet to reach 7000 now even) . We have plenty to see in 2012.

the increase in visa quota is only marginal....... in the range of 55,000-57,000 for 2012

and stopping all parents sponsoring visas will surely expedite our cases.
sorry mate, stopping of parents visas will have no impact on FSW cases as CIC has enough supply of parental sponsorship for the next ten years, and the ratio of parental class and FSW still remains unchanged to 40:60 ratio

MI-3 and MI-2, will be over by sept 2012 for delhi but MI-1 will not
