If your partner sponsored you and you left the relationship immediately after landing, the partner could report it as a marriage of convienience. If IRCC decided to investigate and found it to be true, they could revoke your PR.

Its the other way around. The partner abandoned the sponsored common law. What should be done?

Get a lawyer and file for support payments. She can claim welfare if she wants. How long were they common law?
Since 2012. The partner arrive in Canada 2015 and after 2 years applied for a PR which included the common law spouse. Just this year got their PR status and when the common law spouse landed this month, the partner abandon her. Can she file a case and have the partner’s PR status revoked?

Absolutely not. Also, if this was an "economic class" PR application, with a primary applicant and a dependent spouse/common-law partner, there is NO sponsorship involved.
