We should not renew the passport of the country of origin, you just submit the copy (expired) that ircc left you!
What should I write to IRCC with expired passport why i am not sending them renewed passport?

My passport is expired too i sent it like that they didn’t say anything. They know about expired passports already for refugee claimants. Don’t worry
