HI,
I have a quick question regarding the immigration of my 11 month old son who was born in USA. Me and my family (Wife and daughter) got our permanent residency on Sept 18th 2011.
I am working in USA and my son was born here on November 2011 and has US Passport. this year we visited Calgary, AB and at the airport the Immigrating people gave us Canada Visitor Card Type 10 for my son and in the remark section it says “Family are Permanent Residents in Canada, Child born outside of Canada. Must Submit AFL”.
We came back to USA after a month and are planning to come to Canada next month. My question is do we have to apply for AFL before coming to Canada this year or we can do it when we are in Canada.
