Congratulations on receiving your ecopr! Unfortunately, the journey isn't over. After receiving the ecopr, we still have to wait for the PRcard. The processing time on the website is 14 days, but the reality is mysterious.

you don't need to do anything, PR Card is mailed automatically should take about 1 month from now to be delivered

Any idea what I should do except wait??

you should receive it before the end of this month as IRCC is working on October AOR's now.

I Got eCOPR last February 14,2025 still waiting for the PR card. GC key account it says still in process. almost 2months and still waiting for the card.

I think maybe your location takes longer than usual for delivery, people living in NS or closer probably receive it faster than others but still 2 Months is a long time, I would suggest either call IRCC or contact your local MP.

How soon did you all apply/update SIN after receiving your eCOPR?


I went to Service Canada just two hours after getting mine.
The officer told me that my details likely wouldn’t have updated in their system yet, and if they tried processing it now, I could get flagged for 6–10 weeks.


Just wondering—how much longer should I wait before going back to update my SIN?

I've done it the next day without issues.

New Service Canada online account took another day to set up.
Same with the banks and CRA, it took a day, maybe some 36 hours, for my SIN to become "visible" to their software.

That just sounds like someone not wanting to do their job. We got our SIN’s updated the very next day that we received our COPR’s and there was no such issue. Most people do it asap since you need to update the new SIN with your workplace and bank too.

Has anyone seen any PRcard updates? It's unbelievable, after waiting for so long for ecopr we have to go through this torment again
