I got my eCOPR two weeks ago. I have also had a BOWP application submitted to IRCC. Today I received an update saying that my application was withdrawn since I am a PR holder.

do IRCC automatically refund the fee paid for BOWP application?

They usually say once they start processing your application, you're not likely to get the refund. But since they've withdrawn the application, I'm not sure what applies here.

Anyone Outland applicant here who received FD but no RFV ?

Here goes another week gone and nothing. If I was able to work while I wait I wouldn’t care as much- I would just live my life, but because I’m unable to work until I get my pr, it makes this extremely hard. It’s not like this is the first year they had to do this and they are trying to figure things out as they go .. They should have had a proper system in place after doing this for long over a decade. Covid processing didn’t even take this long. This is insane and very unfortunate. We should at least be given a proper timeline so that we can manage our expectations and plan accordingly.
can I know what's your situation like? I lost my wp as well and couldn't renew to bowp due to complications and now I've work but I can not work legally. so if you could share your experience.

My Portal 2 was submitted on December 19th 2024, still no response since then, I know another person who submitted portal 2 on the same date but no response yet.

Hey guys, I had to register for an account on here just to leave this reply because my patience is running out of my ass.

I'm currently waiting for my eCoPR, I applied under the CEC EE and I got my P2 on Dec 23, which has been 9 weeks

I need my eCoPR to come ASAP so I can get my US B1 visa renewed for 10 years instead of just 1 year with my CWP

And I will have to travel to the States on May 9...

Do you guys think I should just play safe by renewing my B1 like now? There's like 70 days til May 9, and I think I can only wait for another 40 days maximum. From what I remember from last time I renewed my B1, it took like three weeks so I can't really wait pass March, otherwise, I will be totally fucked :(

but I mean... everyone would think a 10 year long visa is worthier to just wait but I don't really wanna play it risky cuz' I don't wanna miss this May trip :(

Have you got any response yet? My portal 2 was submitted on December 19th 2024, and i know another guy who submitted on the same day , but no reply since. I also need this badly as i have to fly out of the country for an urgent matter.

you should receive it this month, last I checked IRCC is still issuing ECOPR's to early December P2's.

I applied under the CEC pathway. I currently work as an Insurance Agent Team Member and sell all insurance product except Life Insurance, as I haven't got that license yet. What do I put as my NOC under Canadian Experience for this role? NOC 63100 is for Insurance Agent and Brokers and I'm not an Insurance Agent but an Insurance Agent Assistant. Though I went through the description and I do exactly all that was mentioned, but I don't want to put a wrong NOC code, please. Kindly advise what NOC to use?

Technically, if your job description matches the lead statement and the majority of your roles & responsibilities match to those specified under that NOC code, then you're good to go. However, if holding a license to be employed in that profession is a requirement under your NOC code, you should look into it.
