my work permit will expire in Jan 23. since I’m unsure whether the date of becoming a permanent resident is the P1 date or the eCOPR issue date, I’m debating whether to apply for a BOWP to ensure smooth processing in the future.
I tried to email the Portal Team to request priority assistance. I wish it work.
Apply for BOWP on January 20 if you still didn't receive your eCoPR. Don't risk of going out of status. They can't land you if you're out of status!

Finally received the ecopr today
Time line: P1 Nov. 2, P2 Nov. 4

Once IRCC has approved an application, it is sent to the landing unit for issuance of the eCoPRs. This unit creates its own queue and issues eCoPRs in accordance with their criteria. We are not able to take action on the issuance of eCoPRs until three months have passed since the second email has been responded to by the applicant. ..,,

Is it possible to take actions after 3 months?

looks today is a good day for issue ecopr

@Sahilk77 Had one query if you're aware of it. I already received my eCoPR on January 06, 2025. My passport is expiring on June 13, 2025 (same as my eCoPR expiry date). Since, I had travel plans in April, 2025, I wanted to renew my passport . Now, can I get it renewed even before I receive my PR card? Do I need to inform IRCC if I renew my passport? Or I am free to update it since I was already virtually landed and became a PR? My country's high commission confirmed that the eCoPR is enough for me to update it.

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
