I believe this thing about quota for ECOPR's was true, IRCC have already issued so many PR's this year and they have probably issued more than they were supposed to for year 2024, now next year 395000 people are supposed to receive their PR so I guess people waiting for ECOPR since Oct 2024 will be the first ones to get their PR on 2025, now I don't know if that will be counted in 2024 quota or 2025 quota.

They will count for 2025. In fact, IRCC treats any ITAs issued after July as 2025 quota (there were ATIP notes about it)

Well if that’s the case then that would decrease the amount of PR’s to be issued next year.

I really hope that your turn is coming really soon. You and everyone here who have been waiting for so long. I understand the suffering. I waited almost 4 years to have my family under the same roof, it was excruciating. The GUs pop up and get us excited then we sit in the waiting room again. I think there are still a few work days left in 2024. I hope and pray for the release of many, many eCOPRs before 2025.

Praying to the Almighty above that we get it ASAP!

Well if that’s the case then that would decrease the amount of PR’s to be issued next year.

Technically the count starts in July every year so not really "decrease", it just does not start in January

Oh, man I'm in the same boat. 51 Days since Portal 2. I hope it's January. Have you heard of any cases where people had to wait that long for eCopr, I mean more than 4 months?
