If somebody knows what to do in this situation please let me know.
I received my ECOPR on 13 Nov ,
Called IRCC , they said card is already printed and waiting for canada post to stop this strike.

so the problem is
I am travelling to India on 31st of dec and returning back on 27th of Jan, basically it’s a short trip for 25 days.
I won’t be able to apply for PRTD because the wait time for PRTD to get stamped on passport is more than 25 days.
Plus during the dates I am going to travel , IRCC will be enjoying holiday season

now the catch is
My flight is from NEW YORK to Delhi and then back to New York from Delhi.

I am travelling in my personal vehicle to New York for this flight.
Is that possible, if I can travel back to US and CBSA let me enter canada via land border with signed ECOPR?
Sorry for the long story.
please reply.
Thanks

yes you don't need a PRTD if you are entering Canada through land border.

Even Santa's gonna be like : Woah buddy! That's above my pay grade! :(
thats right! we have to wish within our means.. asking ircc to upload a single sheet of approval to the portal over a 6 week span is beyond reasonable i suppose. i just wish someone who works in ircc makes a day in my life vlog in youtube. im not even angry, im just curious to know how busy and overloaded these agents are at work and who calls the shots within these offices

They would never do that. Unless they wanna play John Wick and want to be an open target just for fun! :P

i heard they gonna initiate pick up services for passports in service canada in 60 locations as they see no end to the canada post strike anytime soon. first time PR cards are issued by service canada or IRCC ??
