MP means Member Of Parliament. Just google and find out who's your MP in your area and then you could reach out to the MP's team who'll make an inquiry with the IRCC on your behalf!

Oh thank you. Were you able to inquire with your MP? are they replying?
Haven't reached out to mine yet. Because at the end of the day, IRCC will just inform the MP for us to wait because, apparently, nothing can be done for this last step to be expedited! You could try certainly but I'll wait till the first week of December!

As a PR I think you can stay outside Canada for 6 months continuously and if you leave Canada with just an ECOPR then you will need to request a PRTD which according to my lawyer takes around 2 months but you can request IRCC to issue it faster in case of an emergency.
Thank you! I'm just scared of leaving and they wont give it to me or I wont get my PR card if am able to come back. Do you know what time frame they give you with the PRTD so you can travel back to canada?

Actually I was wrong if you have a PR Card with you then you can stay outside Canada for 3 years out of the 5 years of your PR Card, it can be continuous or non- continuous and to answer your current question the PRTD is valid for 6 months so you can stay outside Canada for 6 months with PRTD and those 6 months start from the date of issue so I would say that if you are leaving with just ECOPR or without ECOPR then apply for PRTD at least 2 months before you are planning to come back to Canada.
