WTF is this ECOPR timeline? Lots of folks with P2 in September and early October still don't have ECOPR. Yet, people with P2 late October got theirs already. I have no fkin ideas how they manage the files in their system.
It's extremely frustrating to see people that got p2 in September / October getting eCOPRs. I've been waiting since August 28th and still no sign of eCOPR.
From what I could gather, AOR is also a key factor. People with earlier AORs tend to get their eCoPR faster in comparison. How IRCC works though is a complete mystery!
Yeah I am soo frustrated due to this, I totally understand that there are people waiting since september but when people with p2 around the end of october are getting their ecopr, its making me impatient. IRCC needs to follow a procedure and a fixed timeline
Every possible thing that you can think of, I've tried (calling them many times, many webforms, emails to every visa office in Canada). Still nothing. Finally contacted MP, so lets see if that helps.
It all depends on your case officer. IRCC assigns your file to a case officer, and the timing for approval or moving to the next stage varies based on their work style. Some officers review and approve files within minutes, while others may take weeks or even months. I know it’s frustrating - I’m also waiting for my eCoPR - but that’s just the reality.
I've also seen that many applicants who had their P1 and P2 from Montreal had eventually being transferred to Etibicoke and that's where their eCoPRs were issued. It also depends on the work load I suppose.
