You can make a request if you want, just know that IRCC is not the most sympathetic when it comes to such requests especially since you're still well within the processing time. If you make a request to expedite make sure you can back it up with substantial evidence. And even so they might advise you to just apply for a visitor visa. I got ECOPR today. P1 Sep 26. P2 submitted info and phot OCT 17, ECOPR today at 10:30 am

They don't work at weekends so eCOPR's are only given during weekdays, although I once saw someone post they got their eCOPR late Saturday night but maybe he just hadn't checked his emails before then! LOL

Hi! Everyone here feels for you, we're on the same boat. You don't have a lot of options and the best peace of advice I can give you is to wait patiently. You also can find people sharing their timelines for Montréal office, you'll see what P1 replies they process.

KAI is a knowledge-acknowledgment-information email that you can send to a visa office. I recommend waiting patiently for about six weeks before sending a KAI email or contacting your local MPP. You’ve already reached the P1 email stage, with just two more steps to go—patience will get you there soon. Best of luck!

P.S.: Some people suggest re-sending the P1 email to the same address, which might help trigger the P2 email, although this is not confirmed.
