It's urgent. His long long it takes to get the PR after mail ?
It depends on where you live, but usually it takes between 1 or 2 weeks if nothing went wrong after they mailed it.

My P2 date is also September 7th and still waiting
VO Montreal

How did you receive your eCoPR? Was it attached in email? Or you downloaded it on the portal? What's the address and photo review status now?
Thanks
You get an email saying that you can download it on the portal.

Anyone has been waiting for PR card more than 6 weeks? I've been waiting since Sep 22nd. It's been 4 weeks.
Address and photo are still in review with IRCC.
But did you got the message that it was mailed to you?
If you have, then there’s a guideline on the website showing what you can do.

I received the message on the 19th that my card was mailed to me and both photo and address are still in review to this date.

The eCOPR is issued based on the in Canada declaration.
And yes, they have means to verify if you’re really in Canada. Do they do it after we tell them we’re or not? Not sure, but they might. So you’re basically waiting for an officer to go into your portal and accept the declaration and then electronically sign your eCOPR.

And I agree with you, since the only thing they really analyze in the portal is the declaration, it could be an automated process.
How long it will take for them to provide the ecopr after your declaration?

It depends. These days it’s taking a while. Mine took 26 days. But there’s people in this forum waiting a lot more unfortunately.
Take a look at their P2 or Portal 2 and you will have an idea

Didn't know we could send a follow-up. What did you write to them?
Nothing much...just mentioned I have submitted my details but I haven't received anything yet

In response I got a email that sounded like automated or generalized... Saying I am in virtual landing queue

Where should I receive that message? Via email or portal? I tried to link GCKEY with Pr portal but I couldn't. It said couldn't find my application

It will be on your GCKey and you’ll only be able to see it if you link the card in there. The only info you need is last name and UCI (there are other options, but this was the only one that worked for me).

You won’t get an email with this update.

Hi everyone,
Can someone please advise me regarding my situation.
I received Portal 1 email from Montreal on July 31st, responded on the same day.
I’m awaiting my portal credentials to upload my photo still.

It’s been more than two months now.
I was supposed to leave to India in September but I’ve had to put off my travel due to this.
My concern is that I declared my presence in Canada in portal 1. But I’ll be required to do the same in portal 2 as well. There’s no way of saying when to expect the email but I will not be able to return within the stipulated time they usually mention.
Since there’s been a long gap between the first email and the anticipated portal 2 email- can I get back and resume the process.
I plan on returning in January due to a family emergency. I’m stuck because it’s a unique situation. Almost everyone after me have got their portal 2 credentials as well as eCOPRs.
I have already replied to the same email, called them, reached out through MP, nothing has worked for me.

I appreciate any inputs and suggestions
Thank you
Maybe you can just reply to the first email (portal 1 email) and tell them that you'll be leaving the country on this date and be coming back on this date.
