PR confirmation portal timelines

- PR Approval and Confirmation - January 11, 2023.
- PR Portal Access/Credentials - January 16, 2023.
- Address Updated and Photo Submitted - January 16, 2023.
- eCoPR Received - February 7, 2023.
- PR Card - N/A.
- VO - Montréal, QC.

I have a question. I got my approval letter on Jan 6 (replied to their email same day for login details). On Jan 17 they had a question (replied same day). On Jan 31 still no response so I sent a follow up email. On Feb 7 they asked me to confirm my details again (replied same day). Its now Feb 13 and still no response. Is this normal? What should i do. Location is Etobicoke.

Does the GC Key PR application status "approved" means the PR card has been shipped? Or there are other notifications over email or GC Key stating that the PR card is approved and shipped? Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, there was one update from GC Key after I got my eCOPR. I assumed it was for the status change to "approved".

I got that as well.
But after the eCOPR approval, I linked my PR card application.
Today I received a ghost update, but the status still shows “submitted”

i kinda remember seeing approved/submitted for a while last week or so, but now it's back to submitted. is that considered a GU?

Ghost update is when you open your GCkey account, you see “Application/Profile updated” in the status column. But when you open the application, nothing has changed in it. And when you go back to the home page, the status goes back to “submitted”.

Just a tiny tip for some of you who couldn’t link their PR card application to the Gckey account

I will just take an example:
Country of birth: India
State of birth: Bihar
City of birth: Patna

For the above example if you try to link with place of birth and UCI just try entering place of birth as Patna, Bihar (i don’t know if im the only one who keeps entering just the city name) and i know most of the people might already knew it but it took me so long to figure it out. Just thought to share, it Thanks.

I remember seeing a / at some point, presently it's submitted. I'll take that as a GU

Seeing other people get it so fast makes me think the worst.

1. Portal email - Feb 3, 2023;
2. Credentials received - Feb 7, 2023 (singed declaration of presence & uploaded pic);
3. eCopr received - Feb 13 2023;
4. PR card - no idea;

You were able to link the PR card application for your dependents to your gckey account????

Yes. I added them to my gckey. I linked using their UCI and family name.

Same here, I got my approval letter on 12th Jan. and replied same day, never heard anything until now... I sent 2 e-mails to check status however no any feedback... I don't know what going on...
