Hello guys
I need an urgent help.
when I got the email to confirm i’m in canada. I replied that I’m not in canada and will be back in 10 days.
i got their email today regarding PR portal sign in instructions and I just have 7 days to respond in which I’ve to confirm that I’m in canada.
Please help me out in this situation.

It might be better to prepone your arrival within 6 days or so and complete the steps asap. Also, there might be unforeseen issues with the photo/address upload so keep a buffer of 1 day to complete the process. It's just my personal opinions based on what I have understood on the forums. Also, you can sign in to understand the process flow of the portal.

I agree you can reply back with an answer but it may hang you in the air for another 6 months or a year to get it again.

Anyone received the eCoPR in Montreal? My husband submitted the picture and confirmed the address since Nov 17, 2022

Update address and photos for my family and I on Dec 10 and I’m still waiting for the ECoPr. I notice that the VO Etobicoke is working so I hope the get my EcoPr next week. Cheers

This is what I got from emailing this email about my eCOPR (I have submitted the declaration, address, and Photo on Nov 23rd )

Given our current processing capacity, there will be significant delays in processing the high volume of landings.

Therefore, we are unable to provide an approximate timeline for your PR Portal invitation email and/or for your Virtual Landing."


I have heard from some friends that they reached the cap for 2022 and they are so lean on Ecopr for the rest of the year

I have seen in this website (https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/settle-setablir-eng.html) that confirmation of permanent residence can be issued toat the Peace bridge, rainbow bridge and Queenston-Lewiston bridge to who currently reside in Canada. I do not know what is the process of CoPR issued at these places for persons who reside in Canada.

Not sure how much trustworthy is this document, though the update data is quite recent
