Hi Guys) Has anyone experienced a situation where one PR card has been mailed to the parent and one child (at least IRCC put status as mailed), but the other child's PR card is still in process? Were the PR cards sent together in the same mail, or did each applicant receive their card in a separate mail? I'll highly appreciate insights as I have trip coming and getting extremely nervous

As far as I am aware, that is rather common. I'm not sure what the exact reason is - perhaps they send PR cards from separate dispatch units or VOs. However, everyone usually receives their PR cards with a few days or weeks in between.

That is very common scenario. If you observe, all PR card applications show separate application number which means each application is separate and processed separately, unlike PR application itself where there is common application number and processed together.

IRCC will never stop surprising me. Instead of processing family as unit, all together, they are pushing everyone to different timelines. Anyways, thank you for reply))) Hopefully, this week week will bring positive news for many ppl waiting in queue. :)

I'm not sure if anyone asked this, but will the status in Portal change after the PR card is mailed?

I received ECOPR last week, but the status in Portal still shows as in review with IRCC. No update on the website.

Like the fact that some people get eCoPR only a month after P2 is insanely lucky

It's strange how we refer to people as unlucky when, in reality, this is the outcome of a disorganized system that distributes eCoPRs at random. I'm glad some others got it before us, but it demonstrates that we're waiting in a crowd rather than a queue.

Hi i got my portal 1 on 28th feb replied the same day and still waiting for portal 2 . How much tome does it take usually ?

others who got p1 alongside received it today pvo winnipeg svo vancouver

Did you check your mailbox recently??? I just did and although there was no update from IRCC I recieved my Card, finally I can take a sigh of relief, check your mailbox...
Congrats and thanks for responding.
Yes, I have been checking my mail box almost everyday assuming that IRCC is unpredictable and can do anything. Just to reconfirm, you did link your PR card application with the GC Key and there was no updated regarding the mailing of the Card on the GC key and/or on the PR Portal... right?
