I don't understand what's the use of new portal. They already have our updated address and photograph in PR application old portal. Just to virtually confirm we are in Canada, the portal is. being used where someone can lie too. Plus what's the use of their Security and Background check where they even can't check using our passport number whether we are inside Canada or not !

I applied 10 days ago. I only hope they did not stop processing issuing PR cards for my family and me. Any thoughts?

No, they will not stop processing your pr card. You will receive your pr card on your canada address.
