Hello Everyone,

Can we renew our PR card as soon as the RO is complete? Also if I am studying in Canada at a University..and when I send my application for Renewal what do I answer for the work history question?

No you can only apply 9 months before your PR card expires.

Thanks! Also its a smooth process right? Or there are issues like person not working in Canada? As I am currently enrolled in a Masters program here.

If you are under 800 days you could get stuck in longer processing time.

If you’re sponsoring a spouse as a PR you must remain in Canada minus a short vacation.

So this means if I am 730 days in Canada, I should wait till 800 days?

There is no official time where you won’t get supplementary review but the more time that you have after 730 days the better. Would suggest at least 800 days.
