PR card renewal - passport copy

I’m on my 2nd PR card renewal, do I need to submit color photocopy of the whole passport or just black & white copy is ok?

As I remember I submitted color copy on my 1st renewal 5 years ago but I just checked IRCC website it says clear copy only.

Black and white is fine.

I don't think you need to send a copy of the whole passport - just the page showing the main page, showing your name,photo, dob etc..
can someone confirm this?
