PR Card renewal for citizenship.

Hi.
I have my PR card expired in 2010. I not even knew that it will expire. I am here in Canada all this time, never left and not planing to. I have my status since 2005 and I want to apply for Citezenship. Do I have to renew my PR Card or just go for the Citizenship ?

Its best to have a valid PR Card if you meet the Residence Obligation.
