Scenario:

  • Our daughter lived for a period of time outside Canada with her Canadian citizen mother.
  • She then began attending a boarding school in a different country — one that is neither Canada nor the country where her mother currently resides.

Would the days our daughter spends attending boarding school be counted toward the 730-day residency requirement for PR card renewal under the provision of “accompanying a Canadian citizen parent outside Canada (source)”?

Thanks in advance!

As the title says "You are a dependant child that travels with your parent" so it counts is child is with the Canadian citizen parent.
