I saw a lot of posts saying the IRCC sent them an email saying they received the applications. But I haven’t receive any email. If that is normal?

that’s great . I been struggling with those guys since March when they received my applications .they kept everything till the end of August .and they sent my applications back to me as incomplete. And the reason for returning them it was my passport got expired right after I sent my applications . so I went and start everything from the scratch again and I got a new passport . now I sent everything back to them including my 2 expired passport and the valid one and I even went and paid for another 50 for PR fees in case they say ohhhh it’s missing or not valid anymore !!
Good one! Since 28th October submission is already getting attention, November folks should start getting ready for their AOR.
Patience! It follows a cycle and they will eventually get to yours. Timeline for receiving AOR email is currently about 8 to 10 weeks from sending your application. Do you calculations if nothing changes, then expect about then or maybe sooner.
Any October 15th, 2020 onwards application for PR Renewal received any notification after their AOR yet? Please let us know. Thanks
The 3rd card we were waiting for that was mailed on the 18th November was received at our mailing address on the 25th of November. I just was not informed earlier. I put a call through today and was told I had some mails and the last card was one of them

Check the website, it’s updated weekly, every Tuesday. It’s 129 days at this moment.

I sent my application on near about Oct 5. I got my AOR nd my application is in process since december 9. My passport getting xpired in May 2021. Do you think that they can hold my application till may n then send it back to me stating the reason as expired passport.

Did it expire before or after it reached the cic office? But i thought the requirements is to have valid passport till it is delivered to them.
No. No way. You will get your PR card before January 18th according to their very current processing time and your submission date. Even in the worst case scenario, since your passport will be expired in May, you’re still safe, and there is no way they return your application because of that. Honestly, May is 5 months from now, and the chance you get your PR card later than January/February, given that you already received your AOR is pretty much slim. Unless something odd happens, in which case you’re still safe. I mean, how much delay are you supposed to experience during this process in the worst case scenario? 1 month? 2? 3? But 5?! No way. So, don’t worry. You’re safe, and I hope you get your renewed PR card ASAP.
You are safe . because you got AOR from them . And if you sent them a copy of your passport that has the visa and the stamp from immigration On the first day you landed in Canada .. you are much safer
Mine got expired after i sent it to them .i never got AOR . But you know what !! as long as you sent them a copy of the passport that shows the stamp of the immigration officer when you first come to Canada. In this case The expiry date won’t be a problem to them .
