look at my timeline. May/June forum are stuck too.
May/June forum are no one get PR till today if you don't mind can you share your friend's timeline
May 3rd applicants got his PR so this is a Very good news for me.

I dont know about other may/june applicants. My roommate's application was received on may 3rd, 2012, nova scotia office. U know, before who ever applied for gcms notes they were getting ppr right way, He is one among them. He got ppr request along with gcms notes. I also applied gcms notes twice but no response yet.

Guys, I have just done the interview also asked about the backlog problem.
And Kenney didnt answer directly (as expected). he only said this problem exists because applicants are submitting their application in different visa office, therefore, they will soon launched out a global application system so there will be a true "first come first serve" that included all the applications around the wold. obviously thats benefical only to the future applicants, nothing to do with us.

I received a call from my MP. They inquired about the status of my application. Good to know that I am now on Background check. They said that my application is running smoothly, no red flags or whatsoever. They said that the CIC put a lot of officers on background checking. I am hoping to to received my PPR this month. I am praying.

My MP also told my husband that background check is almost done.if we dont receive any communication from cic within 1st week of june then let her know.

Thank you for posting this information I had an idea. They are pretty nice and they did the inquiry pretty fast. I hope everyone of us will received the PPR this month. And your medicals when it will expires? Mine is on May 28, my family is on last week of June

Me and my husband's medical will be expire on 9th june...the processing time has been changed to 14 month..what do u think should we contact our MP or just wait to complete 14 months time period.

Yeah, I just checked it now and it has been changed to 14months. We can contact our MP maybe first week of June they are really nice and they won't hesitate to contact the CIC for us. When is your 14month? Me I will be on June 10

I emailed them then they get back to me like after 3 days. They sent a consent form that I need to sign. I signed it and send it back to them right away that was Thursday afternoon and they called me Monday morning.

In my case I tried contacting my MP last week but have not received any reply till now . :

my medicals expire on 25 may and I sent Ottawa an email but no reply from them too ... dont know what to do now :|
