I am a convention refugee and applied for PR on 27 Feb 2014. I received two letters on March 2, 2015. One said that my PR application is forwarded to CIC local office in Etobicoke for further assesment and the local office will contact me for further assessment. and the other letter said that my wife should submit Generic Application form and Schedule A to Canadian Embassy in New Delhi. My wife and childrens' application is processed in New Delhi and is almost in the final stage. But I have not heard back from local CIC office in Etobicoke since March 2015. I sent a letter to local CIC office and got no response. I called CIC several times and the last time they said that there no any specific processing time for such case. I requested for help from MP of the constituency that I live in. But she also didn't get any information.The online status check says that we started processing your application and medical results received. Please kindly advise me what should i do to know about the status of my application and expedite processing.
