PR Application for newly married and spouse already in Canada

We recently got married and my wife is already in Canada on her Tourist Visa.

I would like to get my application started as soon as possible but I am just wondering whether to Apply Inland for sponsorship or Outland.

What happens after 6 months as she is only legally allowed to stay here for 6 months as visitor.

Do I have to re-enter and if I have to what happens to the inland application.

Around a month before her stay expires, she can apply online to extend her visitor status in Canada.
