PR and Sponsoring Convention Refugees Abroad

Hello,

Does a convention refugee abroad need to apply for PR on a separate form when being sponsored?

My second question: on the PR form it asks if you are recognized by any other countries. Does being recognized by the UNHCR as a convention refugee mean the answer is "yes"?

Think there may be some confusion. Are you trying to be an economic immigrant? Are you being sponsored by a group?

The "Guide for Community Sponsors" from May 29, 2018 says to include "Application for Permanent Residence". I've been advised that Schedule 14 is not required, which is what I was asking about.

If Schedule 14 is not required, then what is the "Application for Permanent Residence" referred to in the guide? Just the whole Generic Application for Canada?

Follow the guide. Was concerned because your original post didn't sound like you had a sponsor.
